An Appreciation Letter from The Headmaster To Members of BHOBU North America

On behalf of the Board of Governors, School Management, the Bishop Herman Old Boys' Union (BHOBU), members of staff, and the entire student body of Bishop Herman College, I write to formally express our appreciation and gratitude to you and the entire membership of BHOBU North America for the generous financing and successful construction of the ultra-modern main gate for your beloved alma mater.

This monumental project stands as a clear and powerful testament to your commitment, loyalty, and enduring love for Bishop Herman College. The newly constructed gate is not only an impressive physical structure but also a symbol of progress, identity, and renewed pride for the college community. It has significantly enhanced the image, security, and overall outlook of the school, leaving a lasting impression on all who pass through it.

We are particularly grateful for the leading role you played during the commissioning and ribbon-cutting ceremony of the gate. Despite the long distance, competing responsibilities, and the considerable demands on your time and resources, you traveled al the way from North America to Ghana to honor our invitation. Your presence greatly elevated the importance of the occasion and made the ceremony both historic and memorable. It reaffirmed the strong bond that exists between Bishop Herman College and its distinguished alumni abroad.

Your actions have demonstrated a deep sense of responsibility, gratitude, and affection toward the growth and development of your alma mater. Choosing to invest your resources, time, and energy into Bishop Herman College, despite being thousands of miles away, is both admirable and inspiring. Indeed, the main gate is far more than a structure of concrete and steel; it is a lasting monument of gratitude, loyalty, sacrifice, and the enduring relationship between the college and BHOBU North America.

Through this noble gesture, you have practically illustrated what it truly means to remember one's roots. You have sent a powerful message to our current students that success does not disconnect us from where we come from, but rather deepens our responsibility to give back, uplift others, and contribute meaningfully to societal development. I want to specially commend the tireless effort, commitment and zeal exhibited by Dr. Eusebius Gbordzoe towards the execution of the project to its successful completion. May the good Lord replenish you all abundantly.

We wish to assure you that the school administration will take every necessary measure to maintain, protect, and preserve this multimillion-dollar, magnificent facility so that it will continue to serve the college faithfully for many years to come.
